🌊 Brook Cherith

🌊 River / sea / lake · Disputed identification

Brook where Elijah hid during the drought and was fed by ravens; the text places it "before Jordan". Proposals range from Wadi Qelt, to the west, to some brook in Gilead, to the east; no secure identification.
