This site does not use cookies
Interactive Bible Atlas (biblico.kronatlas.com) installs no cookies,
first-party or third-party. It shows no advertising and includes no social-media
buttons or embedded third-party content. That is why it shows no cookie consent banner.
One value in your browser (not a cookie)
This site stores a single value in your browser's localStorage
— a technology distinct from cookies that is never sent to any server:
atlas-intro-seen: remembers that you already closed the welcome message, so it isn't shown again on every visit.
It is stored only because you close the message, and serves only to remember that interface preference: it does not identify you and is not used for any other purpose. You can delete it at any time from your browser settings ("clear site data"); the message will appear again on your next visit.
Until October 20, 2026 this site showed Google AdSense ads. If you visited it then, your
browser may still hold Google cookies or an old value named atlas-ads-consent.
They are no longer used, and you can delete them from the same settings.
Audience analytics: doesn't use cookies either
This site counts visits with Vercel Web Analytics, the measurement service of the very provider that hosts the site:
- It installs no cookies, first-party or third-party.
- It stores nothing on your device: no
localStorage, nosessionStorage, no IndexedDB, no service workers. - To avoid counting the same person twice, a temporary identifier is computed server-side, from the request itself. It is not placed on your device and is discarded after 24 hours.
Article 22.2 of Spain's LSSI-CE requires prior consent to store information on a user's device or retrieve information already stored there. This measurement does neither, so it requires no consent notice. See the privacy policy for more detail.
What about the browser cache?
Like any website, your browser caches (per its own HTTP headers) the files it downloads: the map images, the typefaces, the mapping library's code. This is a standard HTTP protocol mechanism managed by your own browser, not an identifier this site deliberately places on your device, and it is not subject to the notice-and-consent duty of Article 22.2 LSSI-CE.
